Cooloola Coastcare
The Cooloola Coastcare Biodiversity program is committed to the protection and restoration of the unique and fragile ecosystems along the Cooloola Coast. Our primary aims are to enhance local biodiversity through strategic conservation efforts, including the control of invasive species, habitat rehabilitation and research to understand this unique area.
We work closely with the community and local partners to raise awareness about the importance of our coastal environment and empower individuals to participate in hands-on conservation activities.
Through a combination of scientific research , citizen science, community education and on-the-ground action, we strive to create a resilient and thriving natural landscape for both current and future generations.
