Inspire a sense of awe in tourists and locals towards majestic old trees and the web of life they support and strengthen people’s will to respect and protect trees and live in harmony with trees and forests.

• Raise awareness of the important role trees play as habitats in many ecosystems.

• Engage the community in Citizen Science about local trees and educate people about the inhabitants of trees and the interconnected relationships between trees and the web of life that use them as a resource.

• Strengthen the resolve of tourists and the community to protect trees, avoid behaviours harmful to trees like clearing, vandalism, wanton branch removal for firewood or convenience and walking off marked trails.
